We are currently looking for a QAQC Welding Controller to ensure the compliance of our work, from the workshop floor to the job site.

The role

You are the guarantor of compliance with standards, client requirements, and market regulations across our projects. From the quality dossier to the final inspected weld, nothing ships without your sign-off.

What you'll do:

Specifications & quality records
→ Read, analyze, and summarize technical piping specifications (FR/EN) for the food & beverage, pharma, chemical, and oil & gas sectors.
→ Draft ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) and quality plans, and prepare construction packages.
→ Verify consistency with drawings and isometrics.

Traceability & qualifications
→ Manage full traceability: WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material certificates, manufacturing records.
→ Track welder qualifications and ensure compliance with ASME VIII / IX, PED 2014/68/EU, and CODAP standards.

Inspection & execution
→ Organize and follow up on NDT, hydrostatic testing, and on-site execution of works.
→ Supervise and challenge subcontractors on quality matters.

Client relations & non-conformities
→ Act as the main quality point of contact for clients.
→ Manage non-conformities and propose concrete corrective actions.
→ Prepare and deliver the Manufacturer Data Record Book (MDRB / Final Manufacturing Dossier).

What you bring

→ Bachelor's degree in (electro)mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 years' experience in QA/QC.
→ Strong command of the PED directive and construction codes (ASME VIII, CODAP, ASME IX…).
→ Knowledge of welding processes and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
→ Comfortable with the MS Office suite.
→ Working proficiency in both French and English.
→ Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
→ A mindset geared toward continuous improvement, innovation, and digitalization.
