We are currently looking for a: QA/QC and Welding Manager (M/W/X)
As a QA/QC and Welding Manager, your role is to provide support to project managers and operational teams.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include :
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide Expertise: Offer your expertise in welding, standards, and construction codes.
- Develop Welding Procedures: Create welding procedures and ensure the follow-up of Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT).
- Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to procedures, standards, and current codes.
- Quality System Implementation: Implement and monitor the quality system (based on ISO 9001).
- Project Estimation: Participate in project cost estimation.
- Project Support: Assist project managers in project follow-up.
- Liaison with Inspectors: Act as the point of contact for inspectors mandated by CICR or our clients.
- Documentation Coordination: Prepare or coordinate the preparation of manufacturer dossiers, gather reports and all necessary information, verify standards, ensure class compliance, and maintain material traceability.
Profile:
- Essential knowledge in metallurgy and welding technology, mastery of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and construction codes (Codeti, Codap, ASME, etc.), ideally holding an IWT or IWE diploma.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Ability to manage your work autonomously in terms of quality and strong teamwork skills.
- Decision-making skills and an analytical mindset.
- Stress resistance and a sense of responsibility.
